The WRAP Project

The Downtown Vancouver BIA partnered with Emily Carr University of Art & Design to celebrate the creativity of students, highlight the unique character of each city block along Granville and help deter graffiti while adding to the aesthetic appeal of the street.

The result? The Wrap project.

Sabrina Hsu

Born in Taiwan, Sabrina moved to Vancouver when she was a kid. She has always had an interest in art, and was particularly attracted to illustration even drawing comic books of her own.  Following her passion, Sabrina applied to Emily Carr University of Art and Design, and has never looked back.

For this project, she decided to experiment with digital tools, though typically she works with watercolor, gouache, and ink. Sabrina enjoys incorporating quirky elements and intricate details into all of her work,  to be little surprises for those who look hard enough. Her current focus is on editorial and book illustration.
